New National Standards Set for Dynamic Electric Vehicle Batteries in China

New

Skyworth has become a leading player in the development of electric vehicles (EVs) powered by dynamic lithium batteries, officially recognized as a new national standard for new energy vehicles. As of May 8, 2025, Skyworth obtained the GB 38031-2025 standard for “Safety Requirements for Power Batteries Used in Electric Vehicles” (referred to as “New National Standard”). This certification signifies that the company has met the stringent testing requirements for new energy vehicles.

The battery design standards adopted by Skyworth are anticipated to comply with the new national standards coming into effect in July 2026. The company’s safety principles are built upon strict structural standards, exceeding current safety benchmarks and emphasizing reliability.

Skyworth’s self-developed lithium-ion batteries have successfully passed 220 system-level tests and 682 component tests, including 15 critical testing items that exceed the industry standards. In addition to meeting high safety standards, Skyworth has established eight major safety protection technologies and incorporated AI capabilities to enhance safety measures.

Currently, Skyworth’s user base exceeds 500,000, and the company plans to continuously innovate in technology, improve product safety levels, and promote the development of high-quality new energy vehicles.
