The total RIN generation for the first five months of 2025 reached **9.06 billion**.
**Update on Small Refinery Exemption Petitions**
The EPA also published updated data on small refinery exemption (SRE) petitions on June 18, indicating that **20 new petitions** have been filed under the RFS in the past month. Currently, **189 SRE petitions** are pending.
