Wanrun New Energy has recently signed a business cooperation agreement with CATL to supply lithium iron phosphate products. According to an announcement made on the evening of May 19, 2025, Wanrun New Energy (688275) will begin supplying CATL with the required lithium iron phosphate products starting in May 2025. The total expected supply from May 2025 to 2030 is approximately 1.3231 million tons.
Under the agreement, CATL has committed to purchasing no less than 80% of the agreed supply volume on a monthly basis during the period from 2025 to 2030, provided that Wanrun’s products demonstrate comprehensive advantages. Additionally, both parties will sign a supplementary agreement by October 1 of the previous year to establish the monthly delivery plan for each year.
Furthermore, the two companies will establish a long-term cooperation mechanism to jointly promote the iteration and mass production of high-pressure, high-density lithium iron phosphate products, while also working together to explore opportunities in the new energy market.
