Wang Yi Machinery Industry Expo in Thailand — 2026 Machinery Industry Development Group Expo is set to take place on May 14, 2026, at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand. This event aims to promote cooperation and innovation within the machinery industry.

The expo is organized by the Wang Yi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, in collaboration with various local and international partners, including the Ministry of Industry of Thailand, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and industry representatives from over 50 companies.

During the event, discussions will focus on expanding the market for machinery products in Thailand, leveraging the opportunities presented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and new policies aimed at enhancing the industry’s competitiveness.

The expo is expected to showcase advancements in automation, robotics, and high-end manufacturing technologies, providing a platform for networking and collaboration among industry professionals. It aims to highlight the importance of Thailand as a key player in the global machinery sector, particularly in the context of the country’s efforts to promote Industry 4.0.

The Thai government has set ambitious goals for the machinery sector, with projections indicating that trade volume will reach 460.04 billion baht from 2020 to 2025, reflecting an annual growth rate of 14.3%. This growth is attributed to increased demand for advanced manufacturing and automation technologies.

At the expo, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with leading companies in the machinery sector, learn about the latest innovations, and discuss strategies for enhancing production capabilities and market reach.

Mrs. Chamaiporn Chuecharoen, representing the Thai Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving sustainable growth in the machinery industry.

Mr. Narit Lerkmoung, a representative from the Ministry of Industry, will provide insights into Thailand’s industrial policies and strategies for fostering innovation in the machinery sector.

This expo is expected to play a crucial role in connecting Thai businesses with international partners, further strengthening Thailand’s position as a hub for machinery production and trade in the region.
