On May 23, 2025, Ledao Automobile officially announced the range and efficiency details of its flagship model, the Ledao L90. This new vehicle is positioned as a large all-electric SUV and is equipped with a 900V high-voltage architecture. All versions come standard with an 85kWh battery pack, achieving a low energy consumption of just 14.5kWh per 100 kilometers for the rear-wheel-drive model and 15.4kWh for the all-wheel-drive version, corresponding to ranges of 570 km and 605 km, respectively. The vehicle is slated for release in the third quarter of 2025.
In terms of design, the Ledao L90 continues the brand’s family styling, featuring a closed front grille and split headlights. The upper part of the LED daytime running lights is enhanced with matrix light sources, while the lower trapezoidal air intake is complemented by a continuous black trim that visually widens the vehicle. The roof is equipped with laser radars, indicating advanced driving capabilities. The side profile exhibits clean lines, with robust side skirts that enhance its sporty appearance. Hidden door handles reduce drag, and shiny chrome trim above the hidden window adds a touch of sophistication. The vehicle is available with 20/21-inch tires (front: 255mm, rear: 275mm) to improve handling stability. Additionally, side electric steps are available as an option.
The dimensions of the vehicle are 5145mm in length, 1998mm in width, and 1766mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110mm. The rear features blacked-out, continuous taillights with a sporty spoiler and high-mounted brake light. Inside, the cabin maintains the minimalist tech aesthetic of the Ledao L60, featuring a large central control screen and a fully digital instrument panel. The six-seat configuration includes independent seats in the second row with electric adjustment and a central passage, while the third row offers ample space with more than two fists of knee room for adults. The front trunk is fully electric and features a smart opening function, allowing it to open with a double tap. It has a capacity of 240 liters, and the closed front grille can be opened together with the trunk, providing a wide opening of 830mm, sufficient for a large 30-inch suitcase. The vehicle’s ground clearance is just 600mm, making it even lower than some sedans, further enhancing the convenience of loading and unloading luggage.
As for the configuration, the entire lineup comes standard with air suspension and electric side steps, allowing for adjustable vehicle height to balance comfort and off-road capability. Ledao Automobile claims that the L90 is lighter than its competitors by 200 to 300 kg. Specifically, the high-voltage wiring harness has been reduced in weight by approximately 50%, while the front and rear aluminum caliper housings have shed 19.6% of their weight. The front hollow stabilizer bar is 24.3% lighter, and the 20-inch low-drag lightweight wheels save 11.3% in weight. The suspension support and motor integration have resulted in a 21.8% weight reduction, achieving a lightweight coefficient of 2.35, with a final curb weight of only 2250-2385 kg.
In terms of power and range, the Ledao L90 is equipped with a motor similar to that of the NIO ET9, featuring a 1200V SiC power module. The two-wheel-drive variant boasts a maximum power of 340 kW, while the all-wheel-drive version delivers a combined power of 440 kW, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of approximately 4 seconds. Two battery options are available: lithium iron phosphate or ternary lithium, both supporting ultra-fast charging (adding 400 km of range in just 10 minutes) and battery swapping functionality, effectively alleviating range anxiety.
The intelligent driving system employs a pure visual approach, featuring seven 8-megapixel cameras and equipped with an NVIDIA Orin X chip (providing 254 TOPS of computing power), supporting high-speed NOA and automatic parking functionalities. As of May 15, Ledao boasts nearly 2000 available battery swap stations, with 2438 self-owned charging piles and access to 57290 third-party charging stations.
