IIT Madras Students Develop Solar-Powered Car ‘Aagneya’
Chennai, June 13 (UNI) – Students at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) have successfully designed, developed, and built a solar-powered car named ‘Aagneya’. This innovative vehicle was created by Team Agnirath from the Centre for Innovation (CFI), which is recognized as the largest student body in India.
Team Agnirath is gearing up to participate in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2025, the premier global competition in solar technology. This event will take place from August 24 to 31, featuring a challenging 3,000-kilometer drive from Darwin to Adelaide in Australia.
