On May 8, during the 2025 The smarter E Europe exhibition in Munich, Envision Group released its 2025 Zero Carbon Action Report, announcing that it has achieved operational carbon neutrality for three consecutive years since 2022. The company also stated that it successfully reached 100% renewable electricity usage in 2024, one year ahead of its RE100 commitment, highlighting its exceptional leadership and efficient execution in the green energy transition.

The report revealed that Envision Group’s total greenhouse gas emissions from operations (Scope 1 and Scope 2) amounted to 7,089 tons of CO2 equivalent. With a carbon emission benchmark of 84,000 tons, the company effectively reduced its emissions by approximately 77,000 tons in 2024, achieving a reduction rate of 91% through measures such as improving energy efficiency and utilizing on-site and off-site renewable power. Notably, by the end of 2024, products delivered by Envision are expected to help avoid approximately 2.35 billion tons of carbon emissions, contributing positively to global sustainable development.

Furthermore, Envision is committed to building a sustainable supply chain as a core path to achieving its sustainability strategy. By leveraging digital empowerment and zero-carbon technology, the company aims to promote the green transformation of its supply chain. In 2024, all core suppliers had fully integrated into Envision’s Ark Energy Carbon Management System, with 18% of core suppliers achieving 100% green power supply for Envision products. The target for 100% green electricity usage across the core supply chain is projected to be achieved by 2028.

As the management of carbon footprints becomes a new requirement for Chinese products entering international markets, Envision is leveraging its leadership in carbon footprint management. It initiated the construction of an International ILCD Life Cycle Data Network in collaboration with industries such as batteries and photovoltaics to build an industry carbon footprint database that aligns with international standards, helping more enterprises reshape their value chain in the global competitive landscape.

Additionally, Envision’s green hydrogen and ammonia produced in Chifeng have been certified by Bureau Veritas for renewable ammonia, making it the world’s first green ammonia product to receive this certification. Upholding its mission to “solve challenges for a sustainable future for humanity,” Envision is integrating AI’s deep learning capabilities into energy systems, reshaping the relationship between humanity and energy and ushering in a new era of AI-driven physical productivity.

For instance, by combining AI algorithms with full-stack technical capabilities, Envision has established a closed-loop mechanism for AI wind turbines that includes “perception-decision-execution-evolution,” effectively matching the installed capacity of new energy with the real-time absorption capacity of the grid. Envision’s energy storage solutions have introduced trading and network-building AI agents to facilitate autonomous and efficient interactions between energy storage systems and electricity markets, contributing to the establishment of a new power system. AI weather models, risk control models, power prediction models, price prediction models, and AI quantitative trading strategies are becoming essential tools for entering the new energy market, driving innovations in electricity market trading.

As part of the global energy transition and climate action, Envision, as a pioneer of the zero-carbon industrial park model, is using AI technology as its core driving force. It integrates green energy and green industrial systems to form a green industrial cluster, transforming the global industrial ecosystem. Following the establishment of the world’s first fully operational zero-carbon industrial park in Ordos, the first phase of Envision’s Chifeng zero-carbon hydrogen industry park, which produces 300,000 tons of green hydrogen and ammonia, has successfully commenced production—a milestone for global green hydrogen development. Envision is also collaborating with Tencent Cloud to develop the world’s first data center powered entirely by green electricity, creating a new model for zero-carbon digital infrastructure that balances computing and electricity.

Looking ahead, Envision plans to partner with others to build 100 zero-carbon industrial parks globally over the next decade, potentially becoming a significant engine for the green new industrial revolution, creating new opportunities and prosperity worldwide.

In 2024, the global zero-carbon technology partnership ecosystem developed by Envision achieved significant breakthroughs. Envision partnered with Starbucks to transform its Coffee Innovation Park in Kunshan, Jiangsu, into the greenest low-carbon facility in its ecosystem, achieving 100% renewable energy usage and reducing carbon emissions by approximately 78,000 tons per year. Additionally, Envision collaborated with Merck China to develop comprehensive energy service scenarios, including green energy, carbon management, and green electricity procurement, assisting the company in achieving its 2040 “climate neutrality” goal. Envision has also signed the world’s first binding sales agreement for green ammonia with Marubeni Corporation, marking a significant step towards commercializing green ammonia as a zero-carbon energy carrier.

The “zero-carbon circle” of Envision has extended across various industries, from retail giants like Tesco improving energy efficiency to Blackstone’s ESG asset optimization, forming a cross-sector intelligent carbon reduction network. The transition to a zero-carbon economy is not merely an option but a necessary path toward the future. In the coming years, Envision will continue to work alongside like-minded partners to integrate into a global chorus of new prosperity and sustainability, striving to win the race against climate change and time.
