China’s Embodied Intelligence Industry Conference Kicks Off in Beijing, Highlighting Advances in Humanoid Robotics

Chinas

On April 28, the third China Embodied Intelligence and Humanoid Robot Industry Conference opened at the demonstration center of the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. The theme of the conference was “A New Era of Embodied Intelligence: A New Future for Humanoid Robots,” attracting over a thousand professionals from government, industry, research, and academia. The conference featured high-level dialogues among academicians and experts, dynamic demonstrations of humanoid robots, and exhibitions of core components such as high-precision sensors. Concurrently, supply-demand matchmaking and talent recruitment events were held, sending a clear signal: the industry is accelerating its transition from “technology sourcing” to “value realization.”

The focus of competition in the embodied intelligence industry has shifted from “can we create robots?” to “can we make them perform effectively?”. At the conference, several Haidian-based companies showcased hard-hitting products that answered this question. Lingxin Qiaoshou (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. is the only company in the world to achieve mass production of high-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands, holding over 80% of the global market share. Its Linker Hand can thread a needle and is utilized by top laboratories such as Stanford, Cambridge, and Tsinghua, as well as industry giants like Foxconn. “We have truly transitioned from ‘can do’ to ‘is useful’ and ‘can produce’,” stated Zhou Yong, co-founder of the company, during his speech.

On the “brain” level, Haidian enterprises are also redefining technological advancements. Qiwuke Technology Innovation has introduced a “Big and Small Brain Long-Term Memory System,” paving new paths for the low-cost implementation of embodied intelligence in commercial scenarios. From dexterous hands to joint modules, and from multi-dimensional tactile sensors to electronic skin, Haidian companies encompass nearly every key aspect of embodied intelligence. A number of national-level “little giant” enterprises, such as Yintai Robotics, Kunwei Technology, and Tashan Technology, are building strong technological moats in niche areas like dexterous operation, force perception, and tactile chips. An investor at the exhibition commented, “The value of an embodied intelligence product is no longer judged by how high it can jump, but by how dexterous its hands are, how accurate its perception is, and whether it can operate stably on real production lines.” Currently, Haidian has gathered approximately 300 embodied intelligence companies, forming a complete industry chain centered around “brain, small brain, and body.”

The embodied intelligence industry features high barriers and interdisciplinary intersections. To transition from “single-point breakthroughs” to “ecological clusters,” Haidian is constructing a self-sustaining innovation ecosystem by aggregating resources through platforms and promoting implementation through scenarios. At the conference, the Beijing Robotics Industry Association officially initiated the establishment of a “Humanoid Robot Industry Chain Collaborative Development Working Group,” which will bring together top talents from upstream and downstream to focus on common technological challenges and standard development. As the region with the highest concentration of embodied intelligence enterprises and the richest innovation resources in Beijing, Haidian District will take this opportunity to deeply engage in addressing common technological challenges and building a standard system, thereby supporting the collaborative development of the city’s industrial chain.

The conference also featured an “Industrial Supply and Demand Matchmaking Meeting,” focusing on high-potential scenarios in industries such as logistics and manufacturing, organizing one-on-one precise connections to address the pain point of “demand not finding solutions, and solutions not reaching scenarios.” Furthermore, the conference held a “2026 All-Scenario Embodied Intelligence Industry Chain New Product Joint Launch,” where over 20 companies showcased their latest achievements. Several enterprises completed product iterations based on applications from Haidian, leading them to the national market.
