On May 16, the 2025 Inner Mongolia High-Quality Development Conference for the Hydrogen Energy Industry was held in Hohhot. During this event, several organizations, including the Chahar High-tech Zone of Ulanqab City, the Binhai New Area Government of Tianjin, and China Railway Tunnel Group Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation agreement with Junrui Green Hydrogen Energy (Group) Co., Ltd. The total value of these agreements reached 15 billion yuan.
The conference, guided by the Inner Mongolia Federation of Industry and Commerce and co-hosted by the Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Industry Association and the Inner Mongolia Sichuan Chamber of Commerce, focused on the theme “Green Electricity Producing Green Hydrogen: Hydrogen Energy Benefiting Lives“. The aim was to create a dialogue platform for government, enterprises, and research institutions to promote the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in Inner Mongolia.
Industry experts were invited to speak on various topics, including the strategic positioning of hydrogen energy, pathways for high-quality industrial development, the preparation of green hydrogen from wind and solar power, carbon asset management, and applications of hydrogen energy across 11 different areas. Over 300 representatives from government, enterprises, and research institutions gathered to discuss new paths for integrating the hydrogen energy industry into the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia’s economy.
Inner Mongolia is rich in wind and solar resources, presenting significant potential for renewable energy development. In recent years, the region has placed a strong emphasis on the growth of the hydrogen energy industry, implementing a series of policies to support innovation and create a favorable investment environment for hydrogen energy companies.
Tian Shengjun, Chairman of Junrui Green Hydrogen Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., stated, “Our company has established a green hydrogen base in Inner Mongolia and is constructing a hydrogen transport network to ensure a seamless industry chain. In the future, we will leverage local resources and policy advantages to deepen industrial collaboration and promote the large-scale application of green hydrogen across multiple scenarios, contributing to Inner Mongolia’s development as a national-level green hydrogen demonstration base.”
