The Zhejiang West Data Center User-side Energy Storage Project has officially commenced construction, backed by Jianjie Economic Development Group through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jianjie New Energy Co., Ltd.. The first phase of the project is set to have a capacity of 3.3 MW/7.095 MWh, utilizing 33 units of 100 kW/215 kWh liquid-cooled energy storage integrated cabinets. This advanced liquid cooling technology enhances system efficiency and safety while enabling flexible low-voltage grid connection.
Upon its operation, the project is expected to optimize energy consumption by 4.15 million kWh annually, resulting in over 20 million yuan in savings on electricity costs over the entire project lifecycle. This will significantly reduce the operational costs of the data center, alleviate peak pressure on the power grid, and lower carbon emissions, contributing to the green and sustainable development of “Smart Jianjie”.
The project highlights the importance of user-side energy storage in commercial applications. For more information on energy storage developments and projects, please visit related reports.
