Tongwei Co., Ltd. has announced that its solar module shipments for 2024 have reached 45.71 GW, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 46.91%. This growth is a result of the company’s ongoing efforts in the photovoltaic component sector.
Recently, Tongwei has signed several major sales agreements and has successfully been awarded or shortlisted for various projects. In terms of specific sales agreements, the company has established partnerships with several international entities, including PVO International B.V., European Energy A/S, Gransolar, and Hangzhou Haixing Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd.. The agreements involve capacities of 130 MW, 148 MW, 108 MW, and 550 MW, respectively.
Furthermore, Tongwei has excelled in project bidding, securing a contract for the centralized procurement of photovoltaic module equipment for 586 MW from Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd.. The company has also been shortlisted for several projects with China Datang Corporation and Three Gorges Materials, with a total bidding scale amounting to 22 GW. The final transaction amounts and fulfillment terms for these projects will be confirmed through formal contracts.
