Innovative Energy Solutions Shine at ESIE International Energy Storage Exhibition

On April 10, 2025, the 13th International Energy Storage Summit and Exhibition (ESIE 2025) commenced at the Beijing International Convention Center. As one of the largest and most influential industry events in the global energy storage sector, the exhibition showcased cutting-edge trends in energy storage technology and market applications.
Under the theme “Integrating Source, Network, Load, and Storage: Intelligence Across Distances,” GoodWe made a significant impact with its comprehensive solutions that cover residential, commercial, and ground energy storage scenarios. The company presented a systematic approach to the entire energy ecosystem, from production and storage to consumption and intelligent management, capturing the attention of attendees.

Integrated Solutions Accelerating Energy Transformation

GoodWe’s residential energy storage solutions featured the Sunshine Series photovoltaic building materials, ET hybrid inverters, and Lynx F batteries, as well as the ES Uniq energy storage system paired with Lynx U series batteries. Designed specifically for residential applications, these products provide both efficiency and cost-effectiveness, with seamless transitions to backup power in under 4 milliseconds. The AI-driven AFCI 3.0 arc protection supports microgrid operation alongside photovoltaic inverters. Additionally, the ES Uniq offers a three-in-one port for generators, backup power, and smart loads to meet various scenario demands efficiently.
Complementing the Lynx Home U series battery, which is a low-pressure lithium battery designed for home use, the system employs an advanced six-fold safety protection mechanism, capable of continuous 0.9C charging and 1C discharging. It supports parallel connections of up to 30 units, expanding capacity to 150kWh. Its low-temperature heating technology ensures stable operation even in -20°C environments. Addressing urban residential space challenges, GoodWe introduced balcony photovoltaic units with a minimalist design and flexible installation technology, transforming small spaces into efficient power stations. The exhibition also marked the debut of GoodWe’s heat pump series, linking light, storage, and heat for clean alternatives in high-energy consumption scenarios such as winter heating and hot water supply, enhancing both cost efficiency and comfort for households.
GoodWe’s residential energy storage solutions utilize the SEMS intelligent energy management system for real-time monitoring and management of distributed energy. By leveraging big data analytics and intelligent algorithms, the system optimizes energy dispatch, reduces costs, and enhances energy utilization efficiency, ultimately achieving comprehensive energy management and optimization.

Integrated Solutions for Industrial and Commercial Applications

For industrial and commercial scenarios, GoodWe’s Galaxy series photovoltaic building materials convert building facades and roofs into power generation units. The ESA261kWh outdoor integrated energy storage cabinet utilizes next-generation 314Ah high-energy-density cells, seamlessly integrating with a 3S system for longevity, safety, and cost efficiency. It supports parallel connections of up to 10 units, achieving a maximum output of 1.25MW/2.61MW and features AI-driven battery diagnostics and health predictions.
The GoodWe PCS 125kW series modular energy storage inverter features flexible output arrangements, supporting both grid-tied and off-grid operations. This design allows for integration of various energy storage systems according to customer needs, maximizing economic benefits. The “integrated solar storage charging canopy” solution combines the ESA100kWh energy storage system, Arctic series photovoltaic materials, and smart charging piles to create a zero-carbon closed loop of “Photovoltaic Generation → Energy Storage Peak Shaving → Electric Vehicle Charging“. This model is suitable for parking lots and industrial parks, promoting a shift from grid dependency to self-sufficiency in transportation energy.
The latest PCS215kW+ boosting AC integrated module, showcased at the exhibition, serves as the core component of the energy storage system. It employs intelligent grid connection algorithms and features such as virtual synchronous machines and black start capabilities, demonstrating excellent grid support. With a maximum efficiency of 99.01%, it is compatible with various lithium-ion batteries and includes dual protection against AC and DC surges with an IP66 rating for dust and waterproofing, ensuring the safety of the energy storage system. The modular design of the boosting AC integrated module supports mixed use of new and old batteries, adapting flexibly to varying grid conditions and overcoming operational challenges, thereby facilitating the widespread application and long-term stable operation of energy storage systems.

Smart Energy WE Platform: Unlocking System Value

The GoodWe Smart Energy WE platform acts as the digital brain of “Integrating Source, Network, Load, and Storage“, utilizing AI algorithms for cross-regional energy dispatch and virtual power plant management. This platform enables the digitalization, systematization, intelligence, and marketization of energy assets, providing services that ensure security, value preservation, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and value addition. By aggregating diverse distributed energy sources, it supports the participation of new energy assets in electricity trading markets.

Collaborating to Build an Energy Storage Ecosystem

During the exhibition, GoodWe signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Urban Investment Industry Cooperation Organization, Xiamen New Energy Security Technology, and Ruipu Lanjun New Energy, aiming to deepen collaboration in areas such as energy storage system integration, battery technology innovation, and smart energy platforms. Witnessed by Zeng Shaojun, Secretary-General of the National New Energy Chamber of Commerce, and Wang Yingge, Vice President of GoodWe Technology Co., Ltd., the signing was attended by GoodWe’s Vice President Hou Xiangyong and Zhang Wenbing, General Manager of GoodWe Power Technology (Guangde) Co., Ltd.
During the “GoodWe Night” event, Vice President Wang Yingge delivered a keynote speech titled “Integrating Source, Network, Load, and Storage: Intelligence Across Distances“. With over thirteen years of experience, GoodWe has evolved beyond a single equipment supplier to construct a comprehensive “Source, Network, Load, and Storage” ecosystem. On the source end, the company occupies the trillion-yuan building photovoltaic market with its BIPV product matrix, continually leading the way in integrated solar storage and charging solutions. In storage, since 2012, GoodWe has developed a comprehensive product system for household, commercial, and ground energy storage, establishing itself as the energy hub in the new power system. On the load side, “Dianle Duo” creates distributed photovoltaic turnkey projects and innovatively introduces GoodWe’s thermal air-source heat pump products to cover the entire energy consumption cycle for homes. Lastly, on the intelligence front, the GoodWe smart energy platform has partnered with over 8GW of distributed energy, empowering electricity market transactions through virtual power plant technology and establishing a smart brain for coordinating “Source, Network, Load, and Storage” operations.
From breakthroughs in inverters to a comprehensive smart energy ecosystem, GoodWe is driving the energy system’s transition towards “low-carbon resilience and economic efficiency“. Moving forward, GoodWe will continue to focus on technological advancements and ecosystem collaboration, ensuring that every kilowatt-hour of electricity delivers maximum value.
