At the exhibition, Shangneng Electric officially introduced the 430kW liquid-cooled string PCS compatible with 600+Ah large battery cells. This groundbreaking product enhances single-machine cycle efficiency by 0.2%. It features a modular design with a high protection level and suppresses fault current to 10kA, ensuring efficiency and economic advantages for every kilowatt-hour, while safeguarding electrical safety. Furthermore, as a high-power string PCS utilizing true liquid cooling technology, it achieves significant advancements in energy storage economics through two main technologies. On one hand, it greatly improves the temperature rise control capability of the entire cabinet, maximizing the asset value throughout the equipment’s lifecycle. On the other hand, with an upgraded power drive control algorithm, the product effectively reduces auxiliary power consumption during operation, significantly enhancing long-term customer returns.

Upgrading with Networked Solutions

As a leader in the high-power energy storage market, Shangneng Electric presented a 5MW to 6MW+ energy storage system solution that encompasses both string and centralized technology routes, attracting significant attention. The system includes a 6.9MW centralized conversion and boosting unit configured with a 1725kW centralized PCS and a 6.25MW liquid-cooled string conversion and boosting unit made up of 430kW string PCS units, demonstrating robust construction capabilities to handle the ever-changing challenges of the grid, officially ushering the industry into a new era of 6MW+ networked energy storage.

The EMS solution from Shangneng Electric was a standout feature at the exhibition. This system supports real-time data collection and layered visual management of multiple key parameters such as energy storage units, battery clusters, and individual cells. It offers diverse mode matching to meet various user needs, intelligently adjusting optimal charge and discharge strategies for customer peace of mind. The system’s diagnostic analysis capabilities include consistency analysis and charge/discharge analysis, with settings for exceeding limit alerts at different measurement points. Through predefined communication protocols and interfaces, Shangneng Electric’s EMS solution can be fully integrated and pre-configured at the factory, significantly reducing on-site commissioning difficulties.

Empowering a Better Life, Shangneng Electric introduced a new household solar storage solution for residential applications. The 15kW three-phase household solar storage inverter features a minimalist design and is compact for easy transport and installation. It supports 100% three-phase unbalanced load capacity and allows for millisecond-level rapid switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes. Accompanied by the Yueliang Solar smart energy management system, users can easily monitor the status of their solar plants and KPI data anytime, anywhere.

The following day, during a forum on energy storage design and solutions, Shangneng Electric delivered an engaging presentation titled “Shangneng Electric’s Second-Generation Networked Technology Supporting High-Quality Development of New Power Systems.” The second-generation enhanced hybrid network technology has achieved critical breakthroughs in four major areas, supported by ten core functions that ensure the stability of the entire grid, fully meeting the complex demands of various global markets. Currently, Shangneng Electric’s networked energy storage system solutions are widely applied in global markets, covering generation-side, grid-side, distribution-side, and microgrid scenarios.
