From Blueprint to Groundbreaking! The construction of the energy storage project by Wusheng Energy has officially commenced.
On May 20, 2025, Wusheng Energy began the construction of a 5MW/10MWh commercial energy storage station for Anhui Kelaite Aluminum Co., Ltd. This project employs a “distributed photovoltaic + smart storage” system, providing Kelaite with an integrated solution for energy sourcing, grid connectivity, load management, and storage.
On this affectionate “520” day, the project symbolizes a mutual commitment to energy storage and photovoltaics, together composing a green narrative!
Project Core Configuration:
- Total capacity of 10MWh lithium iron phosphate storage system, with two 5MWh units.
- Annual peak shaving capacity exceeding 4 million kilowatt-hours.
- Intelligent dual-drive system: Featuring two 2500kW PCS and a 2500kVA transformer, ensuring full-time utilization of photovoltaic power generation.
- Flexible design: Smart allocation enables dynamic switching between “one charge and one discharge” and “two charges and two discharges,” accurately adapting to fluctuations in peak and valley electricity prices.
- Seamless integration with a 12MW rooftop photovoltaic system, creating a “self-consumption + surplus electricity storage” smart energy use loop.
Revolutionizing Corporate Energy Efficiency:
With zero upfront investment and a shared benefits model, this project aims to reduce electricity costs for enterprises and serves as a green low-carbon energy demonstration for manufacturing companies in the Yangtze River Delta.
Energy Storage Innovations: The project will alleviate pressure on the power grid by enhancing peak shaving and valley filling.
Anhui Kelaite Aluminum Co., Ltd., located at the junction of the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces in Guangde City, specializes in the research, production, and sales of high-end aluminum materials for building doors, windows, and facades, solar photovoltaic aluminum materials, and aluminum components for new energy vehicles. It has emerged as a leading brand in the national aluminum industry and was listed among the top 100 manufacturing companies in Anhui Province in 2022.
As a primary supplier of aluminum frames for photovoltaic modules in the Yangtze River Delta region, Kelaite’s products are crucial for ensuring the durability and efficiency of photovoltaic modules. The energy storage project initiated by Wusheng Energy will efficiently coordinate with Kelaite’s existing rooftop photovoltaic system, significantly lowering electricity costs and enhancing energy resilience. It will also provide downstream photovoltaic module clients with more sustainable aluminum frame products, completing the loop of “green energy → green production → green products.”
This project marks a significant milestone in the deepening cooperation between the two companies in the new energy sector. It highlights Wusheng Energy’s successful implementation of a comprehensive carbon footprint management solution for the full lifecycle of commercial energy storage in manufacturing. By establishing a triadic service paradigm of “green electricity supply – smart storage – low-carbon production,” the project aims to deliver replicable energy efficiency improvement solutions within the manufacturing industry.
“Change enables communication, and communication allows sustainability.” Wusheng Energy looks forward to leveraging energy storage technology to deeply integrate Kelaite’s “green aluminum” with photovoltaics and energy storage, creating a benchmark case for the collaborative development of new energy and traditional manufacturing. Wusheng Energy is also continuously iterating its “integrated solar-storage-charging control” solution, empowering industrial parks to achieve energy efficiency leaps and build a smart energy ecosystem, thereby accelerating the dual process of energy revolution and industrial upgrading.
