Kelu Electronics made a noteworthy appearance at the 2025 Indonesia International Solar and Battery Storage Exhibition, held in Jakarta from April 23 to 25. The company earned recognition as one of the Top 5 Battery and Energy Storage Innovation Companies based on audience voting organized by GEM Indonesia. This accolade highlights Kelu’s commitment to establishing a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific market, alongside other industry leaders such as Sungrow, Trina Solar, Huawei, and JA Solar.
During the exhibition, Kelu showcased its comprehensive and advanced energy storage technology portfolio. This included the Aqua-C2.5 grid-level solution, the Aqua-E233 commercial and industrial storage system, an integrated energy management system (EMS), and the EP Package integrated solution. The highlight of the event was the string-type PCS version of the Aqua-C2.5, which garnered significant attention within the industry. This system integrates string inverters with batteries within an AC storage cabinet, achieving enhanced efficiency while offering modular scalability and flexible deployment.
Kelu Electronics is among the few companies globally that can deliver mature string-type PCS solutions. The system also incorporates Kelu’s proprietary Smart Scales active balancing technology, which optimizes energy distribution through active balancing control. Recently, it successfully passed the CSA TS-800 Large Scale Fire Test (LSFT), earning authoritative certifications for its safety and reliability.
Another significant offering from Kelu at the exhibition was the EP Package integrated solution. This approach establishes a one-stop service system covering the entire project lifecycle, from system design and engineering implementation to grid connection commissioning and capacity expansion, along with a long-term operational maintenance service agreement lasting up to 20 years. Through this comprehensive integration capability, Kelu aims to help clients maximize system performance and return on investment.
During the keynote session, Harrison Ye, Kelu’s Asia-Pacific Regional Director, emphasized the importance of comprehensive system integration: “True system integration is not merely about stacking components; it involves excellent engineering capabilities, streamlined operational maintenance systems, scientific quality assurance strategies, and value creation throughout the entire lifecycle. Profitability should be measured by focusing on energy output, cycle efficiency, and long-term reliability.”
As a leading enterprise with nearly 30 years of experience in the global energy market, Kelu Electronics has surpassed 6 GWh in energy storage system deliveries as of the fourth quarter of 2024, with business operations spanning the Americas, Europe, and Chile. Looking ahead, Kelu is accelerating its localization manufacturing efforts in Indonesia, with the first phase of its Indonesian factory set to commence production in the first quarter of 2026, with an initial capacity of 4 GWh, expandable to 6 GWh. The company is planning further expansion to meet Indonesia’s TKDN requirements while deepening investment across the Asia-Pacific region.
