2025 Taiwan International Smart Energy Week and Net-Zero Sustainable Expo: Pioneering Future Energy Trends and Building a Comprehensive Net-Zero Ecosystem

The 2025 Taiwan International Smart Energy Week and the Taiwan International Net-Zero Sustainability Expo will take place from October 29 to 31, 2025, at the Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1 in Taipei. This event is co-hosted by TAITRA and the GESA Green Energy and Sustainability Alliance, a part of the SEMI International Semiconductor Industry Association. The exhibition aims to explore new trends in energy and build a comprehensive net-zero ecosystem.

This year’s expo will feature 450 companies showcasing nearly 1,600 booths, demonstrating advanced technologies ranging from well-known solar and offshore wind energy to emerging sectors like technological energy storage and deep energy savings. It is expected to attract around 28,000 visitors from both domestic and international backgrounds over the three-day period.

As the world shifts towards a low-carbon future, technological innovation is driving growth in the green economy. The recent Climate Week NYC highlighted the global commitment to transformation, with leaders and industry representatives coming together to discuss the future.

The Taiwan International Smart Energy Week will consist of four main thematic areas: Solar Power, Wind Energy, Smart Energy Storage Applications, and Diverse Energy Creation. Key exhibitors include Yuanjing Solar Energy, Taiwan Solar Power Business Association, Evergreen Energy, Taiwan Perovskite Technology, and others. The wind energy area will feature national pavilions from Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, and The United Kingdom, showcasing the latest trends and technological solutions in renewable energy.

Recently, the Australian government announced an investment of AUD 1.1 billion to launch a Cleaner Fuels Program aimed at promoting a low-carbon liquid fuel industry and accelerating the transition to net-zero. However, low-carbon transportation is just the tip of the iceberg in net-zero initiatives. The Taiwan International Net-Zero Sustainability Expo will gather representatives from various government and industry organizations, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Environmental Protection Administration, Taiwan Power Company, and leading companies such as Delta Electronics and Yuan Cheng Precision. They will present cutting-edge energy-saving technologies, green electricity trading, green finance, energy integration, and carbon credit trading solutions to help businesses explore new net-zero opportunities across sectors and borders.

Positioned as a key platform for industry exchange in the Asia-Pacific region, the Taiwan International Smart Energy Week and Net-Zero Sustainability Expo aim to deepen engagement with renewable energy and net-zero actions, accelerating energy innovation and carbon reduction practices. The event will also host numerous high-profile forums featuring international policy units, experts, and industry representatives discussing the latest trends and application prospects in energy transformation.

This year’s forum series includes topics such as Energy Lab, Asia-Pacific Offshore Wind Cooperation Forum, AI Server Technology Summit Forum, Net-Zero: Climate Resilience × Carbon Reduction Solutions Leaders Forum, Hydrogen Applications and Future Trends Forum, and others focusing on energy industry transformation, technological innovation, and market opportunities.
