Software License Agreement

1. Grant of License

Upon purchasing a Delta Robot hardware kit and receiving the source code package, the licensor ("Delta Robot Project / Nenpower") grants you ("the Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to use, view, modify, and run the following materials solely for your own purposes:

• PC control software (Python source code)
• ESP32 firmware (Arduino C++ source code)
• CAD design files (STEP / STL format)
• PCB schematics and layout files
• Pre-trained YOLOv8 detection model weights
• Documentation, examples, and scripts

2. Permitted Uses

The following uses are explicitly permitted under this license:

• Running and modifying the software for personal learning and experimentation
• Using the software and firmware to operate the Delta Robot hardware you purchased
• Integrating the software into your own commercial products or services
• Modifying the source code to adapt the system for your own use cases
• Using the CAD files to manufacture custom mechanical parts for personal or commercial use
• Publishing academic research or projects that cite this system
• Teaching or demonstrating the system in educational or professional settings

3. Restrictions

The following are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the licensor:

• Redistribution: You may not distribute, publish, upload, or share the source code, firmware, CAD files, or any derivative works to third parties, public repositories, file-sharing services, or any other medium.
• Resale: You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially transfer the source code or design files to any third party.
• Bundling: You may not bundle or package the software/files as part of another product for sale or distribution without an explicit commercial license agreement.
• Reverse engineering for redistribution: Decompiling or reverse engineering solely for the purpose of redistributing a competing product is prohibited.

4. License Eligibility

This license is granted exclusively to individuals or entities that meet all of the following conditions:

• Have purchased an authentic Delta Robot hardware kit from an authorized seller (e.g., Amazon listing by Nenpower)
• Have not returned the purchased hardware — license is automatically revoked upon initiating a return or chargeback
• Have received the source code package via official channels (email from service@nenpower.com)
• Are the original purchaser — this license is personal and cannot be assigned or transferred to another person or organization

5. Requesting Special Permissions

If you require permissions beyond those granted by this license — such as redistribution rights, team/enterprise licenses, or OEM integration agreements — please contact the licensor in advance:

Special permission requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Written consent from the licensor is required before proceeding with any restricted activity.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software and design files are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the software.

7. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically, without notice, if you:

• Breach any term of this agreement
• Return the purchased hardware kit
• Initiate a chargeback or dispute against the purchase

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the provided materials and destroy all copies in your possession.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
