ZhiYuan Robotics Unveils Full-Size Humanoid Robot Expedition A3 for Extreme Sports and Natural Interaction

ZhiYuan Robotics has officially unveiled the new generation full-sized humanoid robot, the Expedition A3, on February 13, 2026. According to the official video, the robot smoothly performs extreme movements such as flying kicks, mid-air walking, continuous flying kicks, and ground-touching whirlwinds. All demonstrations are captured in real-time without the use of CG effects or AI generation.

The robot’s design closely matches human anatomical structure, featuring a fully flexible hip joint that replicates human movement on a 1:1 scale. This allows for significant twisting and extreme actions. The arm can support a payload of up to 3 kg, with a maximum end-effector motion speed of 2 m/s, enabling it to carry a dexterous multi-degree-of-freedom hand. Its lightweight exoskeleton structure enhances dynamic stability.

The Expedition A3 is targeted at high-frequency human-machine interaction scenarios such as guidance, shopping, and entertainment performances. Its multimodal interaction system supports natural conversation without the need for wake-up words, and it lowers interaction barriers by allowing activation through touch. Additionally, the Expedition A3 is compatible with the ROS ecosystem via the Lingqu OS system, which provides open underlying interfaces. This enables developers to choreograph actions and expand functionalities through the LingChuang platform.
