At the recently concluded 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, Zeekr Technology Group unveiled the V4 ultra-fast charging pile, which boasts a peak single-gun power output of 1300 kW and a peak current of 1300 A, making it the world’s first double 1300 configuration. The first V4 ultra-fast charging station has been established in Hangzhou, with a total power output of 1440 kW, enabling simultaneous charging for multiple vehicles without power anxiety. This technological advancement is paving the way for the new era of “single-gun megawatt charging” in the electric vehicle sector.
The success of this technology stems from Zeekr’s precise solutions to industry challenges. To address the heat dissipation issues associated with high-power charging, the V4 charging pile employs a fully liquid-cooled thermal management system, replacing traditional air cooling to ensure stable high-power output. Additionally, the modular design reduces the footprint of each station by 61%, while the unique intelligent power-sharing technology creates a “power pool” at the station level, dynamically allocating power resources based on vehicle status and charging needs. This allows three 800V high-voltage platform vehicles to charge simultaneously at ultra-fast speeds.
Furthermore, Zeekr Energy was recognized as one of the “Top Ten Ultra-Fast Charging Station Operators in the 2025 Chinese Charging and Swapping Industry,” demonstrating the effectiveness of its “Thousand Stations, Ten Thousand Piles” strategy, which has garnered market approval. Since its establishment in 2021, Zeekr has proactively laid out its ultra-fast charging system, with its first charging pile being an 800V ultra-fast charger. The company has continuously developed, constructed, and operated its “Zeekr Charge” efficient charging network, establishing China’s first complete high-voltage ultra-fast charging network.
As of April 2025, Zeekr Energy has launched a total of 1,578 self-built charging stations across the country, with 7,993 charging piles covering 185 cities. This includes 897 ultra-fast charging stations and 4,295 ultra-fast charging piles. The number of self-built 800V ultra-fast charging piles leads the industry, with over 115,000 third-party piles. By the end of 2025, Zeekr expects to have built 2,000 charging stations and more than 6,000 ultra-fast charging piles, accelerating the progress of its “Thousand Stations, Ten Thousand Piles” initiative aimed at solving the “last mile” charging challenge for new energy users.
