- Mercedes-Benz: Mercedes-Benz assembles EV models like the EQE SUV and EQS SUV, along with other luxury electric vehicles, at its Tuscaloosa, Alabama plant.
- Volvo: Volvo has a battery assembly facility in Charleston, South Carolina, but it does not manufacture complete vehicles there. It does assemble vehicles in the U.S., but they are not fully electric models at this facility.
- Volkswagen: Although Volkswagen has plans for a battery factory in St. Thomas, Canada, it does not yet assemble EVs in the U.S. However, its subsidiary, PowerCo SE, is involved in battery production for future EV models.
These manufacturers are part of the growing trend of EV production in North America.
