- Designed for areas at high risk of power outages (e.g., Tier 2 or 3 High Fire Threat Districts), communities that have experienced two or more Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS), or households with medical vulnerabilities.
- Must meet one of the specific criteria:
- Located in a high fire threat area.
- Experienced PSPS or rely on an electric well pump with income eligibility.
- Use life-support equipment.
- Rebate: $1,000 per kWh, potentially covering the full cost of the storage system.
General Eligibility Requirements
