200MW/400MWh! Wanliyang Independent Energy Storage Project in Guangdong Begins

On April 11, the construction ceremony for the Wanliyang Independent Energy Storage Project was held in Xijiang Industrial New City, Gaoming District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. The project covers an area of 38 acres with a total investment of 800 million yuan and aims to establish a 200MW/400MWh independent energy storage station, which will serve as a crucial hub for power frequency modulation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

200MW/400MWh! Huaneng Yunnan Qujing Shared Energy Storage Project Officially Launched

On April 10, the main and line engineering of the Huaneng Huashan 200MW/400MWh shared energy storage project kicked off. Located in ZhanYi District, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, the project includes 40 storage units, each with a capacity of 5MW/10MWh, divided into 8 subsystems. A 220kV booster station will also be built to support this project.

500kW/1075kWh User-side Energy Storage Project in Zhejiang Connected to the Grid

On April 17, Zhejiang Hongyuan Knitting Co., Ltd. announced the successful grid connection of its 500KW/1075KWh user-side energy storage project. Utilizing lithium iron phosphate storage technology, the project is equipped with a modern energy storage system designed to optimize energy use through a peak-shaving and self-consumption model.

XINWANDA Signs Contract for 400MWh Independent Energy Storage Project in Jiangsu

On the afternoon of April 15, XINWANDA Smart Energy Co. and the Coastal Development Zone Management Committee of Dafeng District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, signed a cooperation framework agreement to jointly construct a 200MW/400MWh independent energy storage project. This facility will be a significant addition to the region’s energy infrastructure.

First “Flywheel + Lithium Battery” Hybrid Energy Storage Station in Guangdong

On April 16, at a promotional event for new energy and storage projects in Guangzhou, Guangzhou Hengyun Enterprise Group and Huachi Dynamics (Beijing) signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The Hengyun Guangzhou Zhongxin Knowledge City Energy Storage Station is the province’s first hybrid station, integrating flywheel and lithium battery technology, marking a significant advancement in energy storage solutions in Guangdong.

Largest User-side Energy Storage Project in Sichuan Now Operational

On April 14, the user-side energy storage project supported by State Grid Nanfang County Power Supply Company officially began operations. With a storage capacity of 1827 kWh, this project is currently the largest of its kind in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, expected to save approximately 200,000 yuan in annual electricity costs.

1.8GWh! Three Energy Storage Projects Signed in Hainan

From April 14 to 16, during the investment conference for the China (Hainan) Free Trade Port, three energy storage projects were signed, totaling a capacity of 1.8GWh. The projects include a 200MW/800MWh independent shared storage station by Hainan Tunchang Hengneng Century New Energy, a 100MW/400MWh new energy storage project by State Power Investment Corporation, and a 600MWh independent storage project in Jiangdong New Area.

100MW/200MWh Shared Energy Storage Project in Guangxi Fully Connected

On April 17, the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage project by Guoneng Yongfu Power Co., Ltd. achieved full capacity connection. Located in Yongfu County, Guilin City, Guangxi, the project consists of 20 storage units, each rated at 5MW/10MWh, and utilizes advanced lithium iron phosphate battery technology.

Energy Storage Project Adjustments in Shanxi

On April 17, the Shanxi Provincial Energy Bureau announced the proposed adjustments to its new energy storage project database, including 119 new projects with a capacity of 2.41GW/4.72GWh and the removal of 93 projects totaling 1.634GW/2.61GWh.
