On October 3rd, it was reported by Dongfang Electric that the Bukha Photovoltaic Project in Uzbekistan successfully achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation in a single attempt. This milestone sets a new record for the construction of large-scale photovoltaic projects in Uzbekistan.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to generate over 500 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. This will lead to a reduction of more than 160,000 tons of standard coal consumption each year, along with a decrease in carbon dioxide emissions of approximately 440,000 tons.
