On May 26, the Development and Reform Commission of Liyang City held a training session focused on the construction of new intelligent microgrids. This initiative aims to implement the requirements outlined in documents such as the “Changzhou New Intelligent Microgrid Pilot Construction Promotion Plan” (Changzheng Office Document [2024] No. 33) and the “Changzhou Three-Year Action Plan for Accelerating the Construction of a New Energy System (2025-2027)” (Changzheng Office Document [2025] No. 6). The training is intended to further advance the establishment of a new power system in Liyang City and promote the optimization and upgrading of the energy structure.
The training session was attended by representatives from various towns, districts, streets, key village committees, and enterprises across the city. Experts from the Liyang Power Supply Company and state-owned platform companies were invited to provide detailed interpretations of the concept, technological features, application scenarios, and development trends of new intelligent microgrids.
This training is part of Liyang City’s broader strategy to enhance its energy infrastructure and align with national energy policies.
