Tokyo Electron showcased its complete product lineup at SEMICON China 2026, which concluded successfully in Shanghai on March 27, 2026. This year’s exhibition set a new record for attendance, drawing over 200,000 visitors and reinforcing its status as the largest and most influential international semiconductor trade show in the world.
As a leader in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment sector, Tokyo Electron (TEL) participated in the event to engage deeply with clients and partners in the Chinese market, discussing the future of the industry. The design of TEL’s booth drew inspiration from the arrangement of wafers in transport boxes and the stacking structure of NAND devices, utilizing a blue and green block visual language to convey a design concept of penetrating overlap and foresight.
During the exhibition, TEL presented its core technologies and product matrix that cover critical semiconductor processes, including:
- Film deposition, coating and developing, etching, cleaning, and bonding processes
- Market share that ranks first or second globally for its main products
- A comprehensive layout of products required for four continuous key processes, offering integrated solutions to customers
Throughout the three-day event, four TEL experts shared their insights at concurrent forums, addressing cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the industry. Masahiro Matsumura from the GLOBAL SALES DIVISION spoke at the international conference on heterogeneous integration (advanced packaging) on the 24th, discussing challenges related to chiplets and advanced packaging technologies, and presenting TEL’s solutions that integrate front-end and back-end process technologies. On the 26th, Masaki Yoda from the PRODUCT & SERVICE DX SOLUTION DEPT. delivered a presentation at the international forum on the IC manufacturing supply chain, titled “DX Concept: Empowering Smart Manufacturing with AI and Robotics.” He highlighted TEL’s DX solutions aimed at accelerating research and development, achieving rapid process ramp-up, and ensuring stable mass production operations.
Overall, the exhibition provided TEL with a valuable opportunity to engage in deep discussions and exchange ideas with professionals in the global semiconductor field. Moving forward, TEL will continue to leverage its leading technologies and products to contribute to breakthroughs in the semiconductor industry.
