Tinda Energy and Abosskal Oferka to Produce Solar Panels in Congo
Tinda Energy Congo has entered into a strategic partnership with the Turkish company Abosskal Oferka to manufacture solar panels aimed at electrifying the Ignié Industrial Park, situated within the Republic of Congo’s Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The agreement was signed by Tinda Energy’s CEO, Yannick Jutta, and Abosskal Oferka’s CEO, Altan Yazicioglu Mahmut.
This collaboration will enhance the electrification of the Maloukou power plant, thereby improving the electricity supply for industrial and commercial activities in the region. The entire industrial and commercial park is projected to be fully electrified by the end of 2025.
This initiative is part of the larger Ignié 2021-2046 electrification project, which aims to generate 55 MW from a hybrid solar power plant and an additional 10 MW from biomass. The project will span 100 hectares dedicated to renewable energy development and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
