Tigo Energy to Present Innovative Solar Solutions for Residential Installations at Intersolar 2025

Tigo Energy will present its comprehensive solar solutions at Intersolar North America 2025, scheduled for February 25-27 in San Diego. As a leader in intelligent solar and energy software solutions, Tigo aims to streamline the installation process by introducing software enhancements that reduce commissioning time by an hour and minimize manual steps, thereby empowering installers with greater autonomy.

At this event, Tigo will also showcase EnergyAid, the top-rated solar maintenance and repair service provider in California and Arizona. In 2024, EnergyAid successfully completed over 600 service appointments per week, servicing and repowering more than 12,000 solar systems. As homeowners face challenges related to aging solar installations and outdated inverters, EnergyAid offers modern, adaptable solutions that enhance system longevity and energy production. Unlike companies that depend on subcontractors, EnergyAid employs and trains 45 service technicians directly, ensuring consistent and high-quality service.

The latest updates to Tigo’s software are designed to improve the design, installation, and commissioning processes, drawing from insights gained through its Green Glove Service Program. The commissioning workflow within the Tigo EI Residential Solar Solution has been significantly improved through 35 core software enhancements, resulting in a better overall experience for installers.

Key advancements include a streamlined setup process that reduces manual tasks and cuts commissioning time by an average of one hour. Additionally, Tigo has introduced new tools and resources to help installers work more efficiently and troubleshoot problems with greater ease. Enhanced software integration also boosts system performance and reliability across Tigo inverters, batteries, and the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS).

Nick Sherman, CEO of EnergyAid, stated, “As a residential solar maintenance and repair provider that handled 600 completed service appointments per week last year, we’ve seen firsthand how Tigo’s focus on installer success translates into real improvements in the field. Although solar technology is mature, many systems installed over the past two decades are aging, and we see significant opportunities within the repowering market. Recently, we facilitated over 100 inverter replacements with this enhanced support, and Tigo has made a substantial impact on system uptime, performance, and deployment speed.”

Jing Tian, Chief Growth and Revenue Officer at Tigo Energy, commented, “A core principle of the Total Quality Solar (TQS) mindset is to extend our commitment to quality beyond our company and into our network of dedicated installers. During my visits with EnergyAid, I was impressed by the tangible results of our collaborative efforts. By partnering with innovative installer companies like EnergyAid to repower legacy solar systems, alongside improving commissioning times and expanding engagement programs for installers, we are equipping them with the most effective tools for success.”

Tigo’s commitment to optimizing solar energy systems aligns with its TQS initiative. By continually refining its software and support resources, the company aims to simplify the deployment of solar technology while maximizing system efficiency. Attendees at Intersolar North America 2025 will have the chance to explore these enhancements firsthand, interact with Tigo representatives, and learn how these innovations are influencing the future of solar energy installation and maintenance.
