Hohhot Times has reported that on May 7, Hohhot Times launched the TENER Stack, which is a 9MWh large-capacity energy storage system developed in Germany. This system aims to address the challenges of energy storage capacity, modular flexibility, safety, and operational efficiency.
The TENER Stack utilizes high energy density batteries, which significantly reduce the total cost of ownership over five years. Compared to traditional 20-foot container systems, the TENER Stack’s volume efficiency is improved by 45%, with an energy density increase of 50%.
With a storage capacity of up to 9MWh, the system can provide electricity for approximately 150 electric vehicles. The TENER Stack’s high capacity also generates significant economic value. By integrating 800MWh of stored energy, the required number of containers is reduced to one-sixth that of traditional systems, while simultaneously increasing utilization efficiency by 40%, leading to a 20% reduction in infrastructure investment costs.
To comply with regulatory requirements in various countries, Hohhot Times has developed a “Two in One” mode that strictly controls the capacity of each high-capacity unit to remain below 36 units, ensuring compliance with 99% of the world’s transportation regulations.
Additionally, the newly designed modular division accommodates multiple transportation methods, allowing for a 35% reduction in specific transportation costs.
With the focus on safety at energy storage facilities, the TENER Stack will enhance the sensitivity of environmental sensors by 40%, improving response times by 35%.
The system’s new three-layer insulation design will enhance thermal performance to 2 hours, while simultaneously meeting the IEEE 693 seismic standards, ensuring it can withstand a seismic level of 9 and 5 level winds.
As of November 11, Hohhot Times’ energy storage products have been applied in over 1700 projects, contributing to the advancement of energy solutions. The latest release of the TENER Stack is expected to enhance Hohhot Times’ position in energy collaboration and accelerate resource turnover.
