
Chung Kwang Optoelectronics’ Smart Robots to Showcase AI Payload Products at European Unmanned Systems Exhibition

The annual European Unmanned Systems Exhibition (XPONENTIAL Europe 2026) will take place from March 24 to 26 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Chung Kwang Optoelectronics has announced its participation, where it will present intelligent perception solutions and a full range of AI payload products made in Taiwan. The company emphasized its focus on key technologies like edge computing, computer vision, and multi-sensor integration, showcasing a product lineup that combines lightweight design, high-strength structure, and exceptional image stability, demonstrating Taiwan’s R&D capabilities and innovation in high-performance unmanned systems.
Chung Kwang Optoelectronics highlighted three major AI payload product lines that provide comprehensive sensing capabilities ranging from real-time image recognition to extensive monitoring. The first product is a lightweight AI visual payload designed specifically for small multi-rotor drones, integrating high-resolution imaging and edge AI computing capabilities, allowing for rapid target identification and mission analysis while ensuring efficient deployment and computational performance.
The second product line focuses on wide-area perception and intelligent observation payloads, developed for fixed-wing drones that require high-speed flight. These payloads offer stable image output and a wide field of view, making them suitable for applications like inspections and environmental monitoring.
Lastly, the multi-sensor fusion AI payload series caters to the needs of high-altitude fixed-wing drones flying at high speeds. By integrating multi-spectral sensors and embedded AI, these payloads maintain high image stability and precise interpretation even in complex and dynamic environments.
