The annual professional exhibitions, Net-Zero Taiwan and Energy Taiwan, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Green Energy and Sustainable Development Alliance (GESA) under SEMI, are set to take place from October 14 to 16 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1. This dual exhibition aims to connect policies, technologies, and markets, creating a comprehensive platform for net-zero sustainability and renewable energy commerce.

Reflecting on last year’s success, the exhibitions attracted 450 exhibitors from 18 countries, utilizing 1,600 booths, with over 20% of participation from foreign exhibitors, marking a record high and showcasing Taiwan’s international visibility in the net-zero and energy sectors. The 2026 exhibitions are expected to grow even larger, with plans to attract over 480 exhibitors and surpass 1,600 booths. Under the guidance of various governmental bodies, including the National Sustainable Development Committee, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of the Environment, and the National Development Council, the event will continue to strengthen policy and industry connections, establishing itself as Taiwan’s most influential international net-zero and smart energy exchange platform.

The Net-Zero Taiwan exhibition will focus on deep energy savings and key solutions for achieving net-zero emissions, particularly in response to the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which has officially commenced this year. This year’s event will highlight critical topics such as circular economy, deep energy savings, green finance, low-carbon transportation, carbon accounting, and carbon trading, assisting companies in accurately grasping policy trends and technological developments.

The exhibition will also invite participants from related fields such as green building, climate technology, and green talent training, gathering important domestic and international buyers and decision-makers. Through high-quality business matchmaking and international exchanges, the event aims to help businesses accelerate their engagement in net-zero opportunities and build a sustainable industry ecosystem.

Energy Taiwan will comprehensively present the renewable energy supply chain. With the push for net-zero goals by 2050 and energy transition policies, Energy Taiwan continues to play a crucial role as a platform for the renewable energy industry. It will feature four major exhibition areas: solar energy, wind energy, energy storage, and diverse innovative energy, showcasing the complete supply chain from components, materials, and technologies to one-stop solutions. Among these, the diverse innovative energy area will bring together applications of hydrogen energy, geothermal energy, small hydropower, biomass energy, and marine energy, demonstrating Taiwan’s diverse and innovative energy sector and providing opportunities for cross-domain collaboration and emerging market prospects.
