According to Guosen Securities, the agreements reached during the recent US-China talks have greatly benefited electric new energy sectors, particularly for export businesses to the US. Previously impacted areas due to tariff policies included the power battery supply chain, photovoltaic inverters, energy storage batteries, AIDC equipment, grid equipment, consumer lithium batteries, and wind power components. It is anticipated that these areas will experience a recovery and acceleration in shipments to the US starting in May.
The positive attitude from both sides regarding future supply chain management for American clients will also play a significant role. Currently, the US accounts for 10%-15% of global demand for power batteries, 30%-40% for large-scale energy storage markets, 10% for the global photovoltaic market, and over 40% for global AIDC equipment demand, in addition to being a key market for consumer lithium batteries and wind power components.
The successful outcomes of this bilateral meeting bode well for the short-term and long-term development prospects of companies across various sectors. This includes leading firms in the power battery and energy storage battery supply chain such as CATL, Kodali, and New Zhongbang; photovoltaic inverter and energy storage integration companies like Sungrow Power Supply and Shenghong Co.; AI server power suppliers like Megmeet, AIDC transformer leader Jinpan Technology, AIDC equipment firms such as Hewei Electric, distribution transformer companies like Igor, as well as battery suppliers for Apple like Zhuhai Guanyu, AI glasses battery suppliers like Haopeng Technology, and wind power elevator leaders like Zhongji United.
