Sunpower, Penghui Energy, and Wencheng Construction have been shortlisted for the procurement framework of 1GWh energy storage systems in Shanxi and Guangdong!
On April 16, Guodian Xuji (Beijing) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. announced the candidates for the bidding of system equipment for the 400MW/800MWh energy storage station in Pingding County and the 100MW/200MWh energy storage station in Guangdong Zhaoneng. The top three candidates in the three bidding sections are Sunpower Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Penghui Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Shandong Wencheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.
According to the bidding announcement, this project is divided into three sections with a total bidding scale of 500MW/1000MWh:
- Package 1: System equipment for the 100MW/200MWh energy storage station in Zhaoqing, Guangdong.
- Package 2: System equipment for the 400MW/800MWh energy storage station in Pingding County, Shanxi (200MW/400MWh).
- Package 3: System equipment for the 400MW/800MWh energy storage station in Pingding County, Shanxi (200MW/400MWh).
The funding for this project is sourced from self-raised funds amounting to 70 million yuan, and joint bidding is not permitted.
