On April 16, Sunshine New Energy officially launched the 7MW photovoltaic power station at JD’s Feixi Intelligent Industrial Park. This event marks a significant step forward in the collaborative integration of photovoltaic power generation and warehousing logistics, presenting an innovative model for the green transformation of China’s warehousing and logistics industry.

The 7MW photovoltaic power station at JD's Feixi Intelligent Industrial Park is built on the rooftops of storage facilities, covering an area equivalent to 8.3 football fields. The power station utilizes Sunshine's commercial photovoltaic warehousing logistics zero-carbon solution, leveraging advanced power station technologies from the “Cube” platform for efficient power generation, scenario integration, and intelligent optimization.

Sunshine New Energy employs its self-developed <b>iSolarBP</b> distributed intelligent assessment design software for smart design and precise evaluation of the power station. It optimizes the photovoltaic layout on color-coated steel roofs and selects the best routing, which not only improves construction efficiency but also maximizes the installed capacity within limited rooftop space, thereby enhancing overall power station profitability.

Sun Hao Ran, General Manager of Central China Asset Operations at JD Intelligent Production and Development Co., Ltd., stated, “After the power station is operational, it is expected to generate <b>7.3 million kWh</b> of green electricity annually, equivalent to a reduction of approximately <b>7,200 tons</b> of carbon emissions. This will not only lower energy costs for the park and optimize the energy structure but also further enhance JD's green competitiveness.”

The photovoltaic power station is designed to integrate seamlessly with the building and is environmentally friendly. By using flat installations that match the roof's angle, it allows for greater installed capacity, thus increasing the station's profitability. The power station meets the electricity demands for various operations in warehousing, such as lighting, sorting, and packaging, while also raising the proportion of green electricity in the park, lowering indoor temperatures, and accelerating carbon reduction, achieving a win-win situation for both economic and environmental benefits in a “zero-carbon warehousing park.”

This photovoltaic power station, resulting from the cooperation between JD and Sunshine New Energy, serves as a model for the integration of <b>warehousing logistics</b> and <b>photovoltaic power generation</b>. It also provides replicable technical pathways and business paradigms for the construction of zero-carbon parks in China.
