
Sunshine Power has set a target of 13.6 GW for its installed capacity by 2025.

The company plans to construct new power plants and secure additional long-term energy purchase agreements. The total installed capacity is expected to exceed 13.6 GW, marking an increase of approximately 1.5 GW compared to the end of 2024.
On May 9, Sunshine Power conducted a series of targeted operational adjustments and responded to the national development plan outlined in document 136. The plan specifies the expansion of renewable energy generation capacity and the establishment of a more dynamic electricity market. The pricing of electricity will be determined by market transactions, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
In addition, Sunshine Power is actively pursuing new renewable energy projects, which are expected to be operational soon, contributing to the stability of its energy supply. The company aims to significantly improve its project development efficiency while minimizing operational costs.
By 2024, Sunshine Power is projected to achieve revenues of 60.39 billion CNY, with an estimated profit of 12.25 billion CNY. The company plans to have around 6.076 GW of operational capacity and approximately 2.081 GW under construction. When compared to 2023, this represents an increase of 1.402 GW in installed capacity.
As of 2025, the company’s strategy will continue to focus on securing main project resources and enhancing its operational capabilities, aiming to exceed the previously mentioned target. The expected increase in capacity and efficiency will support the company’s long-term growth.
