Solis Releases String Inverters for Commercial and Industrial Projects
On February 20, 2025, Solis unveiled a new 150 kW three-phase string inverter designed specifically for the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector. This inverter features a fuse-less design that enhances both efficiency and flexibility for solar installations in C&I applications.
The newly introduced S6-GC3P150K07-NV-ND inverter is transformer-less and compact, measuring 1,035 mm x 869 mm x 396 mm and weighing 105 kg. It boasts a maximum efficiency of 98.8%, with a European efficiency rating of 98.3%. The inverter supports a maximum input voltage of 1,100 V and has a rated voltage of 600 V. Its maximum power point tracking (MPPT) voltage range lies between 160 V and 1,000 V.
This innovative system incorporates seven MPPT inputs, allowing for three PV strings per input without the requirement for traditional fuses. The MPPT current capacity can reach up to 54 A, and it has a DC/AC ratio exceeding 150%. The inverter also features intelligent fan cooling and is housed in an IP66-rated enclosure. Additionally, it includes a DC breaking mechanism and an intelligent AC-DC terminal temperature monitoring function. It can operate effectively within a temperature range of -30 °C to 60 °C.
To address maintenance concerns, the inverter is equipped with integrated dust removal technology to prevent debris build-up on the radiator and fan. It comes with a standard five-year warranty, which can be extended to a maximum of 20 years based on the customer’s needs.
