Taizhou Solar Group has officially commenced construction of its new hydropower project!
On April 27, Taizhou Solar Group launched the hydropower project—a significant initiative to enhance the use of renewable energy. This project aims to integrate solar and hydropower to develop a more sustainable energy model.
The main objective of this project is to harness solar energy through advanced photovoltaic technology, which will convert sunlight into electricity to meet local energy demands. The project is designed to have a capacity of 961.11KW and is expected to operate for 25 years.
Incorporating BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) technology, the project will see the construction of a solar power station integrated into the building’s structure. This innovative approach will replace conventional building materials with solar panels, creating a “solar building” that not only generates electricity but also enhances architectural aesthetics.
The project will utilize 190 solar panels to build a 106KW solar vehicle charging station, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Additionally, the integration of hydropower will enhance the stability and reliability of the energy supply.
With an expected annual power generation of approximately 90.25 million kilowatt-hours, the project will significantly reduce emissions, including an estimated 321.90 tons of CO2 and 26.55 tons of SO2, contributing to environmental protection efforts.
Taizhou Solar Group is dedicated to advancing renewable energy technologies and expanding its portfolio of projects that combine solar and hydropower. This project marks a step forward in their mission to promote sustainable energy solutions.
