SNEC 2025 International Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy Conference Set to Launch in Shanghai This October

The SNEC 2025 International Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy Conference and Exhibition will take place from October 9 to 12, 2025, at the Pudong Kerry Hotel and the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. This significant event is co-hosted by several prominent organizations, including the Global Green Energy Council, the Global Energy Storage and Battery Council (in preparation), the Asia-Pacific New Energy Industry Association, and others. It serves not only as an annual industry gathering but also as a catalyst for global developments in the energy storage and hydrogen sectors.

The aim of the SNEC 2025 International Energy Storage and Hydrogen Energy Exhibition is to align with national strategies and address current demands by promoting new forms of productivity. The event will gather leading hydrogen storage companies, covering the entire spectrum of technological research and integrating the entire industrial chain. It will focus on advancing two major industrial ecological chains: source, grid, load, storage, data, carbon and solar, storage, charging, hydrogen, ammonia, alcohol. This will result in a premier exhibition that drives the development of the hydrogen storage industry.

The conference will feature influential international scholars and experts who will share insights on the latest technologies and market trends in the energy storage and hydrogen industries. Key sessions will include the Opening Ceremony & Theme Forum, Frontier Technology Forum on Energy Storage, Frontier Technology Forum on Hydrogen Energy, and Leaders Dialogue. Additionally, there will be specialized seminars focusing on application markets, such as the International Summit Forum on the New Ecology of ‘Source-Grid-Load-Storage-Hydrogen’ in Power Systems. A Financial Summit and New Energy RWA Summit will also be held to connect capital with industry.

The concurrent activities at the SNEC conference promise to be equally engaging. The organizing committee has joined forces with the International Energy Network and the National Energy Research Institute to host the 2025 Tenth New Energy Industry Annual Meeting and celebrate 20 years of the National Energy Network, focusing on the collaborative development of wind, solar, storage, charging, and hydrogen. Furthermore, a Third Global Green Hydrogen Industry Conference will be held, addressing the critical challenge of transitioning from technology validation to industrial explosion in the green hydrogen supply chain.

The Global Energy Storage and Battery Council will be officially established at the opening ceremony of the SNEC 2025 event. This council is a collaborative initiative between the Asia-Pacific New Energy Industry Association and the European Energy Storage Association, aiming to create a high-end platform that gathers global wisdom and industry strength to drive project implementation and expand application markets in the energy storage and battery industries.

In addition to recognizing industry leaders and promoting innovation across the entire supply chain, the council will launch the inaugural Global Energy Storage and Battery Leaders Selection initiative.
