2025 Global Product Launch | Sig Energy Opens the Future of Smart Energy in Munich
During the Intersolar Europe 2025 exhibition, Sig Energy hosted a grand launch event at the Brainlab Tower in Munich, showcasing its latest achievements in artificial intelligence, power electronics, and energy digitalization. The event gathered over 500 global partners, media representatives, and industry experts who witnessed the unveiling of Sig’s new products and future strategies.
In his keynote address, Sig Energy’s Chairman and CEO, Xu Yingtong, reflected on the company’s rapid growth and outlined its vision for the future. “The establishment of Sig Energy stems from our strong belief that energy systems should be smarter, more interconnected, and more human-centered,” said Xu. “Sig is not just a hardware company; we are building an intelligent energy ecosystem driven by artificial intelligence.”
Since its inception in 2022, Sig Energy has served over 60 countries globally, achieving significant market share growth in residential and commercial markets across Europe, Africa, and Oceania. This launch event not only highlights a milestone in Sig’s globalization process but also serves as a forward-looking forecast for the company’s future development.
General Manager of Sales and Solutions, Zhang Jiawei, provided a comprehensive overview of Sig’s advancements in software platforms, hardware matrix, and overall solutions. On the software front, Sig officially launched the upgraded mySigen App 3.0, designed based on real user feedback and incorporating several innovative features for an enhanced user experience. The new app introduces a Sankey diagram for visualizing energy flow, includes an intelligent AI assistant for price and load forecasting, trend analysis, and operational recommendations, and allows users to set high-load scenarios in advance for more proactive energy management.
In terms of hardware, Sig introduced multiple new products: the second-generation residential hybrid inverter, which is only 99mm thick and operates silently at 25dB thanks to its fanless design, featuring 200% off-grid peak output, 99.0% conversion efficiency, and a flexible storage upgrade capability; the SigenMicro micro-inverter with built-in EMS and WiFi Mesh networking, featuring patented DAB topology and AI auto-deployment technology, enabling setup in as little as five minutes; the Sig EVAC intelligent charging control platform, supporting up to 100 charging stations, suitable for commercial parking lots and large supermarkets; the Sig grid-tie and off-grid switching cabinet with expandable capacity up to 2400kW, compatible with diesel generator connections for rapid switching capabilities to meet various emergency power needs; and the upgraded integrated solar-storage-charging unit, now featuring BAT 6.0 and BAT 10.0 modules with 314Ah cells and a cycle life of 10,000 times, supporting mixed use of new and old batteries for flexible capacity expansion.
Zhang also highlighted Sig’s comprehensive solar-storage solutions for commercial applications, centered around the SigenStack + HYB combination system, covering inverter capacities from 50kW to 125kW and modular storage devices. This solution is adaptable to pure solar, grid-tied solar-storage, and off-grid solar-storage applications, meeting the diverse needs of industrial parks, commercial centers, data centers, and ground-mounted power stations. To balance system efficiency and investment returns, Sig’s solar-storage system employs an advanced DC-coupled architecture, enhancing the cycle efficiency by avoiding additional losses from AC inversion and re-DC conversion during charging, potentially increasing overall system efficiency by up to 2%.
In large grid-connected projects, the DC-coupled system offers simplicity compared to AC-coupled systems, which saves on energy storage inverters and medium-voltage cabinets. This reduction in equipment not only lowers initial investment costs but also minimizes maintenance workload, ensuring system stability and safety due to its IP66 rating and maintenance-free design. This effectively reduces both initial investment and operational costs, providing higher system returns for customers.
The event also featured an awards ceremony to express sincere gratitude to outstanding distributors and installers worldwide. Over the past year, Sig has achieved rapid breakthroughs in several core markets, with many partners experiencing significant business growth, and new collaborations continuously emerging, creating a sweeping global market presence and demonstrating exceptional brand influence. This success is largely attributed to the robust support from global partners. Sig plans to continue collaborating closely with partners around the world to establish a healthy mechanism for mutual growth and to create a broad future for clean energy.
