Shanxi Lingxiao Power Supply Company has recently launched a new service model aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of Shanxi’s energy sector. This initiative includes the connection of 33 distributed generation projects to the grid, which are set to be completed within 231 days. The company aims to achieve a transformation towards a “green energy” model with a specific focus on increasing the speed of project connectivity.
On May 8, Shanxi Lingxiao Power Supply Company announced a new service model designed to facilitate the rapid connection of 33 distributed generation projects to the grid within a timeframe of 231 days. This initiative aims to prevent any financial losses for enterprises awaiting connections and to establish a “speed of connection” benchmark for the province’s energy transition.
This project has been initiated following the national policy adjustments made on April 30, which halted certain projects due to unfavorable wind conditions. As a result, the company is committed to addressing challenges that may arise during the project connection phase, ensuring that the projects remain on schedule.
According to the latest data, the company is focused on the rapid establishment of 202 grid connection points and testing 479 secondary equipment. The process is expected to be time-sensitive and heavily monitored. Shanxi Lingxiao Power Supply Company is also prioritizing the optimization of resource allocation and operational efficiency.
In terms of capacity, the 33 distributed generation projects will together manage a total capacity of 123.632 MW. As of April, the company has already constructed 37 distributed generation power stations with a cumulative capacity of 145.562 MW. The expected annual power generation is projected to meet the needs of local enterprises, with plans for solar power to reach 45 million kWh, reducing carbon emissions by 20 million tons and achieving a benchmark of 8 million tons for emissions reductions.
The leadership team at Shanxi Lingxiao Power Supply Company has stated, “The demand for electricity from service enterprises is a significant priority for us.” By 2025, the company plans to have connected 50 distributed generation projects to the grid with a total capacity of 221.59 MW. The future objectives will continue to focus on enhancing service capabilities and promoting carbon reduction initiatives.
In alignment with national carbon reduction goals, the company aims to implement high-quality service standards and provide a reliable supply of energy while adhering to the principles of the “Lingxiao Plan.”
