On April 28, at around 3 PM, the National Energy Administration announced new regulations for electricity supply. The Shengzhao City Energy Group is set to implement a project that focuses on the construction of renewable energy resources. This project aims to successfully integrate electricity generation with energy conservation efforts. Notably, the project will be located in a region designated for energy development, covering a total area of 20.82 square kilometers, accommodating approximately 600 workers and consisting of seven power generation units, with an estimated annual output of about 3.59 million kilowatt-hours.
The project utilizes a “front-end compensation” model, which will allow for the integration of electricity generation with crop cultivation. This innovative approach is aimed at maximizing efficiency and promoting sustainable practices through a cooperative model that encourages both electricity generation and crop planting.
The Shengzhao City Renewable Energy Project is the first of its kind dedicated to the construction of renewable energy resources in the area, fulfilling the social responsibility of the Shengzhao City Energy Group and contributing to the ecological sustainability of the region.
After the project is completed, the estimated annual electricity generation is projected to reach 2,257 million kilowatt-hours, which is equivalent to approximately 6,787 tons of standard coal, resulting in a reduction of carbon emissions by around 1.7 million tons, thus enhancing efficiency, production capacity, and social benefits.
