It aims to solidify the 500 kV provincial grid and accelerate the construction of new and expanded projects, such as the Mihe River and Haikou projects. It also focuses on enhancing the structure of the 220 kV municipal grid, with plans to expedite the commissioning of the Dongying Fugua to Yumin line and other projects within the year. Additionally, the plan outlines actions for the high-quality development of the distribution network and an increase in rural power grid renovations.
Simultaneously, the plan aims to optimize operational scheduling. A special initiative for grid connection operation services will be launched to proactively organize grid connection acceptance, power outages, and reconnections, ensuring that the flexibility upgrades of coal power plants and energy storage systems are integrated into the grid as soon as they are completed. The plan also calls for the refinement of statistical analysis methods and the strengthening of new energy operational data management.
Furthermore, Shandong will continue to enhance its intelligent scheduling system based on large artificial intelligence models to fully optimize its scheduling management mechanisms. This will improve the grid’s ability to manage a high proportion of new energy resources effectively.
