On May 9, 2025, it was reported that the 120 MW solar power generation project, developed by China Southern Power Grid Company, is located in the Guangdong Province’s autonomous region of Jiangmen. The project covers an area of approximately 2.5 million square meters and is part of the national “15th Five-Year Plan” for renewable energy construction.
This solar power project will utilize advanced photovoltaic technology and is designed to enhance the intelligent energy management and maintenance systems. It will facilitate the large-scale generation of green energy and contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions, estimated to offset around 162 million tons of carbon dioxide annually.
The project aims to achieve a generation capacity of 21 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity per year by 2025, further supporting the government’s “carbon neutrality” goals.
