The 2nd International Conference on New Energy Technology and Power System is set to take place from May 23 to 25, 2025, hosted by Shenzhen University. This conference, known as NETPS 2025, will focus on advancements in new energy technologies and power systems.

The conference will explore several key themes, including artificial intelligence methods, micro-grid applications, and safety and efficiency in carbon capture. These topics aim to address the pressing challenges of energy transition and highlight the essential strategies for intelligent power systems, as well as carbon management.

With 137 papers already submitted, the event is expected to feature participation from prestigious institutions such as Harbin Institute of Technology, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, North China Electric Power University, and Shandong University, among others. Notably, 72 papers are being submitted from national electric power companies and 29 from regional electric power systems, along with 11 from industrial enterprises.

The conference will include sessions on key topic reports, oral presentations, and panel discussions. Esteemed speakers from various institutions will present their findings, including experts from IEEE PES and various universities.

The organizing committee, led by Professor Zheng Jianjun of Shenzhen University, aims to foster connections among researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders to promote collaboration and innovation in the field of new energy.

In addition to the main conference, there will be pre-conference workshops focusing on specialized topics within the new energy sector and power systems. Participants will have opportunities to present their latest research and engage in discussions about the future of energy technology.
