
Sales of new energy vehicles by Seres in September increased by nearly 20% year-on-year, with total sales exceeding 300,000 units in the first three quarters.
On October 8, Seres released its production and sales report for September 2025, announcing that the company sold 44,678 new energy vehicles during the month, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 19.44%. Among these, the Wenjie series accounted for 41,249 units, marking an increase of 15.14%.
From January to September, the total sales of Seres’ new energy vehicles surpassed 300,000 units, reaching 304,629 units. The cumulative sales of the Wenjie series alone amounted to 276,203 units.
On September 23, the brand-new Wenjie M7 was officially launched, showcasing significant advancements in design, cabin space, driving performance, and safety features. Within just 24 hours of its launch, the vehicle received over 40,000 pre-orders, demonstrating strong market demand right from its introduction.
On September 26, the first batch of Wenjie M7 users completed factory acceptance at the Seres Super Factory (Phoenix), and new car deliveries began nationwide. Throughout the first three quarters of this year, the product lineup of the Wenjie series has been continuously enhanced. The Wenjie New M5 Ultra, Wenjie M9 2025 model, Wenjie M8 and its all-electric version, along with the brand-new Wenjie M7, have all been launched and received positive recognition from the market and consumers.
Currently, the total deliveries of the entire Wenjie series have surpassed 800,000 units, setting a record for the fastest delivery of a luxury new energy brand in China. The Wenjie M9 and Wenjie M8 have emerged as the sales champions in the 500,000 and 400,000 price segments, respectively. Data shows that cumulative deliveries of the Wenjie M9 have exceeded 240,000 units, maintaining its position as the top seller in the 500,000 market segment. The Wenjie M8, which debuted in April this year, has also shown strong performance with cumulative deliveries surpassing 100,000 units, solidifying its status as the sales leader in the 400,000 market segment.
