Peng Cong: One of our most significant achievements is our collaboration with Ikedja Electric Power Company in Nigeria. We provided this company with an end-to-end integrated digital solution, leading to quantifiable and perceptible changes. On the livelihood front, we reduced power outage durations by nearly 60%, and cut down the fault recovery time to half. From an operational perspective, the company’s line loss rate decreased from 40% to around 20%, and the electricity bill recovery cycle shortened from 3-4 months to just 1-2 months, helping the company improve cash flow and significantly reduce operational losses and costs, thus reversing a previously inefficient situation.

Peng Cong: The actual value of Chinese technology goes far beyond merely providing a software system. Sun Qingping: Our next major opportunity lies in digital services for renewable energy. With the acceleration of the energy system revolution under the “dual carbon” goals, we believe the renewable energy market has shifted from being “policy-driven” to a model driven by both “market and capital.” We will continue to support the development of renewable energy in foreign countries through technology products and operational construction, fostering close ecological partnerships with upstream and downstream industries to jointly explore the value of renewable energy.

Q4: What do you believe is the most critical factor in the evolution of the “Chinese solution” from a technical term to a trusted international brand?
Sun Qingping: The key lies in the breakthroughs made by a group of people. Many years ago, when we began seeking opportunities abroad, we noticed that several leading Chinese companies had already established their brand recognition and reputation overseas, laying a solid foundation for our expansion. Another reason is that we have moved beyond a simple buyer-seller relationship to deeply integrate into local markets for value creation and brand management, growing together with the host country and collaborating with industries and clients.
