This emphasis on longevity not only saves EV owners significant money—since replacing an EV battery can cost thousands of dollars—but also benefits the environment. Lithium mining for batteries is associated with harmful emissions, and this innovative battery technology aims to reduce mining-related pollution while making EVs more accessible to a broader audience.
