Ningxia: Ensuring Safe and Standardized Construction of Distributed Photovoltaic Projects for Early Operation and Effectiveness
On April 29, a site observation meeting for the construction of distributed photovoltaic projects was held in Juhua Tai Village, Hexi Town, Tongxin County, Wuzhong City. This event was organized by the Ningxia Development and Reform Commission, with the participation of officials from five cities, the Ningdong base, and nine counties in the central and southern regions. The meeting was chaired by Wang Hanwu, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Commission. Attendees observed distributed photovoltaic projects on rooftops, courtyards, and public buildings in the village.
During the meeting, representatives from Tongxin County, Hongshibao District, and Jingyuan County shared their experiences and achievements in promoting rural distributed photovoltaic projects. The State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Company provided updates on the grid connection and operational status of these projects.
The meeting emphasized three key points:
- Enhancing Awareness: Participants were urged to improve their understanding and implementation of the work requirements set forth by the regional Party Committee and government. They were encouraged to view rooftop distributed photovoltaic systems as vital measures for increasing farmers’ incomes and strengthening agricultural connections.
- Seizing Policy Opportunities: Attendees were reminded to study national policies such as the “Management Measures for the Development and Construction of Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation” and the “Notice on Deepening the Market-Oriented Reform of New Energy Feed-in Tariffs.” They were advised to ensure the economical and efficient construction of rural distributed photovoltaic projects.
- Collaborative Efforts: The need for concentrated efforts was highlighted to tackle challenges, clarify support scopes, enhance financial planning, and strengthen technical guarantees and grid access, ensuring that the benefits of rural distributed photovoltaic projects reach the wider farming community.
Local governments were encouraged to enhance planning leadership, set deadlines, and accelerate progress to guarantee the safe and standardized construction of distributed photovoltaic projects, leading to early operation and measurable outcomes.
