5-Minute Liquid Cooling Fast Charging! A New “Integrated Solar Storage Charging Station” Opens in Ninghai
Recently, a new comprehensive energy supply station at the Fanjiqiao intersection of Ximen City Tower in Ninghai began operations. One electric vehicle owner expressed their surprise, saying, “I never expected that my car would be fully charged in just 5 minutes! This ‘solar storage integration’ charging station is incredibly convenient.”
This station is the second intelligent microgrid energy supply station in the county, centered around a charging microgrid. By deeply integrating photovoltaic power generation, energy storage regulation, and smart charging technology, it not only significantly improves the charging efficiency of new energy vehicles but also serves as an innovative model for Ninghai’s green low-carbon transformation.
From the photovoltaic canopies installed above the parking spaces to the intelligent scheduling of the energy storage system, this 1,700-square-meter station showcases the thoughtful application of technology in promoting environmental sustainability.
According to reports, the two photovoltaic canopies at the station have a total installed capacity of 114.68 kWp, generating approximately 110,000 kWh annually, which reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 94.83 tons each year. The facility also features a “self-consumption and surplus power grid connection” capability, creating a pathway for renewable energy utilization and truly achieving the goal of “charging new energy vehicles with new energy.”
The supporting 215 kWh energy storage system functions like a “super battery,” storing electricity at lower prices during off-peak hours and discharging during peak times. This not only alleviates pressure on the grid but also reduces operational costs.
Notably, the station is equipped with four 400A liquid cooling fast charging piles with a peak power of 600 kW, alongside 26 DC fast charging piles, making it compatible with mainstream vehicle models for rapid energy replenishment.
The realization of this project is attributed to the deep collaboration between Ninghai County Investment Group and TELD New Energy Company. Since its establishment in September 2023, the jointly formed Ninghai Qicheng TELD New Energy Co., Ltd. has constructed 37 charging stations, covering key urban areas, transportation hubs, and important locations in rural towns. To date, it has served over 580,000 vehicles and achieved charging volumes exceeding 15.6 million kWh. Furthermore, it was successfully recognized as a large-scale enterprise in December 2024, marking the beginning of a new phase of scale and professional development for Ninghai’s charging infrastructure.
Through a model of “government guidance + market-driven operations,” Ninghai is rapidly building a “15-minute charging service circle” centered around the “solar storage charging” network, making green travel more efficient and intelligent.
