Latest Vehicle Range Data Released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially released the 395th batch of new vehicle listings, showcasing a variety of new models set to hit the market. This announcement is packed with valuable information, making it an exciting time for consumers looking to purchase a vehicle in the second half of this year.

If you are considering buying a car later this year, it would be wise to pay attention to these newly announced models before making your decision.

Audi E5 Sportback

The Audi E5 Sportback, developed in collaboration with SAIC, is the brand’s first model in a new high-end segment. The vehicle measures nearly 4.9 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.95 meters, featuring frameless doors and electronic side mirrors. It is powered by a dual motor system with a combined output of 386 kW (155 kW front + 231 kW rear) and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery that offers a range exceeding 700 km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, and includes advanced features such as rear-wheel steering and air suspension.

Leap Motor C11

Leap Motor has also been making strides, recently filing for a new version of the Leap Motor C11 with four different variants. The B01 model from Leap Motor’s B series has also provided new details in this announcement. All new models will feature a single motor layout and battery options of 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh, likely similar to the B10 model.

Li Auto i8

The Li Auto i8 has been registered with two battery versions: 90 kWh and 97.8 kWh. The 90 kWh version has a range of 670 km and a power consumption of 13.4 kWh/100 km under CLTC conditions, while the 97.8 kWh version achieves a range of 720 km with a consumption of 13.5 kWh/100 km. This shows that the Li i8 not only features a sleek design but also excels in energy efficiency compared to many mainstream mid-size electric sedans.

Wuling Sunshine EV

The Wuling Sunshine EV has introduced a new “long-range” model. While the exterior remains largely unchanged, it features upgraded details, including new-style wheels that give it a more modern look. The battery capacity has been increased from 17.7 kWh to 30.6 kWh, resulting in an enhanced range of 305 km.

Roewe M7

The Roewe M7 is based on the “Pearl” concept car showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show, designed by former Bugatti Veyron designer Joseph Kabban. It features a distinctive chrome grille and a continuous tail light design, exuding a luxurious feel that surpasses its class. The M7 will be powered by SAIC’s DMH hybrid system, offering a total output of 219 kW and a pure electric range of 115 km with a 19.7 kWh battery.

Leado L90

The Leado L90 will be available in two battery capacities: 60.6 kWh and 85.1 kWh, corresponding to CLTC ranges of 410 km, 425 km, 550 km, and 570 km. This differs from previous claims of an “85 kWh battery pack” for all models. Earlier reports indicated the rear-wheel drive L90 had a range of 605 km and the all-wheel drive version at 570 km.

Arcfox T1

The Arcfox T1 offers two power versions: the entry-level model features a 70 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor with a peak torque of 180 Nm, suitable for city commuting. The higher version comes with a 95 kW motor, providing a more robust performance in scenarios like highway overtaking and climbing. Both models will be fitted with CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries, and while the battery capacity is not yet disclosed, it is expected to provide a range between 300 km and 400 km, equipped with standard DC fast charging capability, allowing for a charge from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes, meeting daily commuting and short trip needs.
