The ChiNext New Energy ETF (159261) reported a rise of 1.91%, with the latest price at 1.5 yuan. In recent developments, as the technology for all-solid-state batteries matures, the transition from small-scale testing to pilot testing is underway, and more vehicle testing is being conducted. Since 2025, BMW has launched road test vehicles equipped with Solid Power’s all-solid-state batteries, and Guoxuan High-Tech has also unveiled its own road test vehicles. Changan Automobile plans to begin validation of all-solid-state batteries in vehicles in 2026.

CITIC Securities has indicated that the commencement of all-solid-state battery testing in vehicles is gradually starting, with a dense schedule of road tests expected between 2025 and 2026. Key challenges include managing the volume expansion and cycle life degradation of all-solid-state batteries. Battery manufacturers are primarily working on improving cycle life and performance through the solid-solid interface, while automotive companies such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and BYD have reached a consensus on the need for pressure constraints during battery integration. It is recommended to focus on components related to electrode materials, such as conductive agents, functional additives, solid electrolytes, and surface coatings, as well as on manufacturing processes like isostatic pressing, insulation, and high-pressure formation.

The ChiNext New Energy ETF closely tracks the ChiNext New Energy Index, which reflects the operational characteristics of publicly listed companies in the new energy sector on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Data as of August 29, 2025, shows that the top ten weighted stocks in the ChiNext New Energy Index (399266) are Ningde Times (300750), Sunshine Power (300274), Inovance Technology (300124), Yiyou Lithium Energy (300014), Xian Dao Intelligent (300450), Xin Wanda (300207), Roboteam (300757), Jie Jia Wei Chuang (300724), Jinli Permanent Magnet (300748), and Xinjubang (300037), which together account for 64.15% of the total index weight.
